Thierry Dufourcq is an agricultural engineer (master of science degree) from Bordeaux Sciences Agro. He works since 2001 for the French Institute for Vine and Wine (IFV), a national research institution that helps the development of the wine industry in all the vineyard regions. He is managing several applied research projects in viticulture and enology located in the south western France vineyards. His skills concern vine and wine production technics : training systems, grapevine management, soil management as well as relationship between white wines production and aromatic components.
