After graduating from Enita de Bordeaux (BSA) in 1989, I worked for two years as a cooperant on the island of Grenada, studying the terroirs of cocoa and muscatel trees in the Caribbean. From 1991 to 1998, I taught at the Lycée Agricole in Blanquefort and developed a consultancy business. I taught viticulture and oenology to BTS students in initial and continuing training. Wishing to redirect my professional career towards teaching and research in viticulture, I was recruited in 1998 by Bordeaux Sciences Agro, where I teach viticulture. From 2009 to 2016, I was Deputy Director of the ISVV’s Scientific Director, in charge of Innovation and Technology Transfer. In 2016, I became publishing director of the peer-reviewed scientific journal Oeno One, in Open Access. Today, I work in the UMR EGFV1287 Joint Research Unit at ISVV.
