Alfredo Koch basically started viticulture at 5 years old “slaving” during the summers at his grandfather’s vineyard and winery.
He comes from Argentina, studied in the US. Now he is a professor and coordinator of the Viticulture and Enology Program at Allan Hancock College in California. He has his own vineyards and produced wine for 14 years. Also he worked in wine sales and distribution, including exports. But nowadays he is completely dedicated to teaching.
