Professor of Economics/Managing Editor

Dr. Karl Storchmann is a professor in the economics department of New York University. He is the founding and managing editor of the Journal of Wine Economics and vice president of the American Association of Wine Economists AAWE. His research focuses on wine and climate change as well as on wine market organizational issues. Together with colleagues from Sciences Agro Bordeaux he is currently conducting an analysis on vineyard land prices in the Bordeaux wine growing region.
